The problem is once the loom is disconnected the reconnected this resets things and they work for a perod of time before the inevitable. So fault finding will proove difficult. The problem with my VX was to do with the connector/loom but mos other guys have found it was either the ECU or Acc...

I had this on my VX... the downsides of fly by wire. Its either any of the following:- ECU Wiring/connectors from ECU to accelarator sensor/TB Accelerator sensor TB Good luck - an expensive problem whatever the outcome.

You have to ask yourself 'why do I want coilovers?' If you want a lardy comfortable cruiser dont bother and get some lowering springs.

Take those metal caps off ASAP..... a couple of CTR + VX220 owners fitted them after a while they seized on making the valves useless.

I tested the Monaco's and Imola S' side by side - a huge difference in shape, the way they grip you and swallow you up, and the padding is nice and comfy. Try them - you'll love them.
