No they are not. You may be lucky with the MOT station though. A couple of mates I have who have the Pilot style clasps and 3" harnesses in their Exiges have passed.... However the only road legal ones are the ones with the std clasp.
I looked into it before stripping mine out and buying...
I dissagree - I have both my CTR and my 172 sat outside..... so I can jump out of one and drive the other. I will bet every penny I have that my CTR has more of a surge on cam.
This doesnt however make the way it delivers its power any better - just more of an event. The smoother and more...
OK a proper and correct answer.
The legality is that you need to use UK Road Legal harnesses [not FIA]. These are harnesses that have the std clasp like your seatbelts with the red button. My Cobra Harnesses are road legal.
They also need to be mounted correctly.
You do not need the std...
I use VSO ConvertX ..... not free [well it is if you look for it] but is fantastic with loads of features for playing with the DVD structure etc....
No loss of quality...
It quick too!
The Honda K20/a is one of the best engines made. Together with the gearbox.
Its the choice of engine upgrade [and on the wishlist] of all Lotus owners.
I love it!
Just had some rear brake pads delivered by GDI [only ordered them late yesterday afternoon! Great Service adn the cheapest around!]
On the side of the box it says Pug 306 GTi - are these the same as the 172?
The pads look exactly the same as some pics I have seen of some rear pads off 172's...
Your forgiven :)
My advice would be to get it booked in for the cambelt and aux change ASAP. A few owners have had thier cambelts snap well before the recommended 5 years/72,000 miles. Personally Id do the belts every 3 years. Rubber deteriorates with age more so than mileage.
^^^Yep - I loose no quality either - when testing with my laptop linked to my TV with the AVI file played straight to it versus a dvd in my ss system^^^
Lovely Gary - glad you are enjoying it! How are you finding it around the track?
Horizon are fantastic full stop... and are easy on the pocket. Ive heard good things about SS too though.
Asurious or Bitlord... Make sure you setup port forwarding on your router.
Limewire is the mecca for crap quality downloads wihout tagging, and deceitful files [files saying they are something they are not] - oh and full of viruses.
Its not that easy!
The bolts on a 172 are in a very awkward place on springs... you will need 2 x people and a flexi extn for your sockets.
Or do what I did and get someone else to worry about it.
Not sure - I did go through Lich in the CTR on Sat - but was in the 172 alot too!
How come no-one ever sees me in the little track bug! [probably because I hardly ever drive it!]
I took it on a massive blast upto Bakewell yesterday up the A515 - had a couple of blasts with certain fastish...
Well I have just burned my first DVD!
I uninstalled the drive and let windows find it again and it seems to be working - however when played on my home DVD player the film locks up!
Im going to try it on a R not a RW now and see if that works - and have a look at compatability issues.
