One of the lads at work buy the whole lot - Fast Car, Max Power etc. They all seem to have pretty much the same stuff in all of them. Not much reading in one - too much sh1te! 16V 0-60 is 7.7secs btw
I think they have some info on them

down the bottom left they have detectors they seem to like the bel 550
Definately as fast as poss - my Williams seems pretty rubbish 0-60 but when on the move (especailly out of bends) is very different! That is more "real world". I have never ever had a "traffic light" race yet!!! Had loads of races usuall off roundabouts onwards!
Have timed my car 0-60 using a...
It used to be the Bell 330 - I borrow my cousins one and its excellent! He had a snooper but it didnt give as much warning as the bell. Now with the GPS ones out I dont know which is the best at the mo!
yeah was at knockhill once where I was a 106 gti showing up a few Scoobies in the cornering stakes. I would have to go to knockhill as Engerlund is too far - it wouldnt be so bad if the trains still did Motor-rail!
I drive very enthusiasticly on the back roads where I live so dont worry about a pampered Willaims;)! So as far as that goes I cant see why a track would make much difference - its just other peoples comments than made the track=things going pop impression on me.
What about wear and tear on the car - things like brakes and discs? I read about people killing them on a track day! Ive never been on one yet but the possible cost of replacing bits has put me off.
A lot of the FT.com crew fancy R5s - I would too but there arent any decent ones in my area. They seem to be very scarce these days - I can believe about it being more reliable than a Williams lol
It depends what you want - £ for £ my Williams is the best all round car Ive driven (so far) but if you want tremendous acceleration and cheap tunability then its not really the one. Guy next to my work had a G40 - treated it like crqp! used it as a work van/skip which was a pity as it was a...
Actually the Autocar test I have - result
R5GTT 1st
FRST 2nd
205 Gti 1.9 3rd
Fiat Uno Turbo 4th
I assume with you racing career (what thats got to do with anything anyway) you would change the result? LOL
The Roy Bacer thing was aimed at the quote "If you want to say to the world...
Well if hes looking for cheap power a Non-Turbo Clio aint the way!! Or are you guys giving him the money for a conversion? The valver isnt a option is it?
As for the Fiesta being mailto:cr@p">cr@p Rob - that is only your opinion and mine is its a good car. I have owned enough of them to form a...
Crumpy you tuned your RS at all - I looked at getting a RS2000 but the amount of hastle for a small amount of bhp must make it the hardest car to tune on the planet! Im pretty sure the lads on RS2000.com reckon its got a learning ECU which once youve put your mods on gets it back to the...
Hmm all have stuff going for them. If your going to tune then the Turbos are the only way (unless you have loads of cash).
I must admit that my 2 FRSTs were built a million times better than my Clio. Rust is the main Fezzie killer. On std 14s the Fezzie grips OK and handles badly. I got a set...
Nice! Ive had one or two races that are a bit OTT. Something I would never normally do - by feck does you heart race when its over! Had one with another car once in the pi$$ing rain - was cornering over 100mph and couldnt feel the steering at all - it was only after I thought about it!
