I've been neglecting my car cleaning over the winter months...
So, basically, a few weeks ago i set about giving the car a thorough clean as well as cleaning the wheels and arches. the wheels were a mess with loads of baked on brake dust and since i'd had a serious falling out with bilberry...

the thread size on the saxo on is silly small put providing it's screwed in all the way the shoulder should provide some support to it.
i could make them harder so they're less likely to bend, but then they're more likely to break. and i know which i'd prefer! it is...
yes iirc. i went to TDF without having checked mine in a while. i made 159. Matt told me to go away and check my tyres... i went and put them back to their normal 30psi and hey presto... 169bhp.
my empire grows! lol.
Thinking of making it another 10mm or so shorter.

i'm no expert but going on what Tom, Danny etc. have said earlier in the thread, if mounts are fitted incorrectly they'll cause excess vibration. where did you have them fitted?

I'd definitely give claying a go. the results are sooooo rewarding. and it's not just about how the paint looks. the feel of the paint is totally transformed. definitely worth doing.
