Allied question. What's the 'standard' rear bumper on a 172? Mine has no tailpipe cutouts, some have one on the nearside, and some have twins?

I'm a bit of a doughnut when it comes to styling, but what exactly is the point of a tow thingie? Does it mean you expect the car to break down? ...or is it something that is a requirement if using the car on the track. Excuse my ignorance :o

I had similar done at K-Tec. My bill was £1200 but that included a remap, K-Tec filter. K-Tec springs, new dampers and an MOT! For your work I am sure sub £1000 is possible with them!
