SP30 last year. I told my insurers and they didn't care. I think quite a few insurers ignore the first 3 points anyway these days. Come renewal time I changed anyway.
I have no experience of this type of service. I'd imagine though they will simply offer you a rock bottom price and if the car starts and runs they are quids in.
Just inquisitive; why do you want to sell it this way?
I shiver to think how I would have to drive to get 30 MPG out of my 172.
I travel 40 mies a day (30 of which is on motorway), plus some weekend town driving, and I average 45 MPG :approve:
I have a standard Cobra alarm system on my RS172.
Once the vehicle is locked and the the alarm set; what's the minimum time until the alarm is disabled enabling re-entry?
I have been caught out several times and set off the alarm when re-opening the door after enabling the alarm.

I need education!
Bump stops?

Someone on here, based in Reading...
Yeah not funny is it! I replied to te Highway Agency's email to the effect that just HOW bad does it need to be before they do something?
No reply :dapprove:
Similar worry here. Every day I hit a lump on the motorway between M4/M25. It's like a really high sleeping policeman. Never really noticed it in my Golf but I sure do in the 172 with K-tec springs. I have to slow right down and be really wary of following cars. Still gives a real jolt and...
