i think the title is a bit of an exaggeration young man - the service was not £700, the service was £280 (which is about right for a 36k service) and the rest of the "add-ons" which Renault always try (especially the rear pads!!) makes it to £700 !!! :D

paid £163 yesterday for 24k service on Cup - Renault London West

however, the option on the V6 is quite a different yellow - the "yellow" which will be or is (not sure!) available for the V6 is similar to the mustardy/sh1tty/goldie/brownie/mud colour on the M3 !!! As you can see I am not a fan of either !!! :D

what reg and year is it? mine had 53k on it, and my hubbys had 68k on it when we sold it !! next service will be 48k

it must be the fact that all of them, whether they are 172s or Cups can be so different, we have a Mk1 172 and a Cup, and the 172 holds its own against a fair few others, so it isnt a "slow" one, but the Cup was always faster, much more instant pick up, as CanfordCliffs says!

the Cup has 20k, is over 12 months old, no problems worth mentioning!! fun, fun, fun is what its about :D

it is different - dont care what the logical answers are - the cup is faster - everyone I know is faster!!! the weight makes a difference or whaterver else, like Chavy says the aircon will make a difference - whether you like it or not, drive a Mk1, Mk2, Cup or whatever, the Cup is faster...
