'bout 20mm, trick is to pilot drill the holes into the splitter before trying to attach it to the bumper, as you could never get a drill under there if you're not putting the car on a ramp.
sounds a bit like my experience at Renault in Huddersfield. Forgot to do this, "it'll take an hour", "oh sorry sir, it'll be 3 hours", "we haven't got the part", blah, blah.
its roughly 30, never dared to go more than that...
*slightly off topic, a toyota avensis - when the range says 0 miles, it will still have 2 litres left in the tank.. tried it last night, it accepted 53 litres...
Any good custom exhaust place will be able to knock out a stealth exhaust system for you.. have a search for peeople's recommendations..
stealth is the way to go IMO.. dont have the headache of choosing tailpipe design, or cleaning it, or cutting bumper to suit it..
you can see the green stuff pads a little through the 172 wheels, not a lot though.. dunno about 182 wheels?
my front discs lasted about 30k-40k (I drive like a fairy) Now running Brembo discs as recommended by Fred - no complaints (IIRC roughly same price as OEM's)
your OEM wheels would have been et 43
the mk2 172's wheels are et48 - which should fit ok
the 182 cup & trophy are et45 - so these'll fit ok too
172 cup are et38.5 - should just fit
Someone must've put them on before..
decat is cheaper & free's more bhp.. but can be a pain to swap over come mot time, unless you know the mot tester ;)
sports cat is usually a lot more £££, but you're still legal & shouldn't have to swap over for the mot
Decat gets my vote
just checked on my old 24k service, its not an oil filter, washer, air filter, screen wash or oil...
