Problem i read with that warranty is that it requires you to pay for 2 mot's doesnt it.? Or is it just the one, then the work to repair it.? If thats the case, then its the £41 mot fee, followed by the £79 for the warranty thingy.. Needs to be 3 months before MOT is due though..

why 1.6 and not a 172, 182 engine.?

i have an enclosed K&N apollo.. its nice.. :) Prob not effective on a 1.2 though, prob just more noise than acceleration & noise..

Id go in, have a chat with the service manager and the parts go to identify some of the parts that have been replaced. Then query the zip ties and the oil pricing, and go with that. Id expect 20 ltrs of oil to be put into the boot though.. The question is though, what are you going to do...

how about being light footed till your rolling.. i find that if i hoof it in 1st or sometimes 2nd i get a little spin and the traction light flashes at me.. Therefore i just take it easy till i have enough movement..

Believe the TDC sensor on these engines is located.. Basically, rhs of the engine down near the gearbox, its in the centre.. only one with wires going too it.. not long to change it.

What about that plastic repair stuff, need to do some bike panels, assume you filled and painted it.?
