Well, AA came out to repair my bonnet catch and in the process put a dent in the bonnet.
I contacted them, and about 4 months later they are now asking for quotes to get the dent repaired, well estimates to have it repaired.
The dent is on the front of the bonnet, cant get access to the...
The mirror backs come off, im sure you can get them painted, or buy some new backs from renault and get them painted.
Alloy wheels will push your insurance up sky high if not as standard.
!!! I know the expression was not made with alloy wheels !!!
This therefore if you have not...
I had one of them in a 3 door model. Mine was a 02 plate 1.2 16v expression in nautical blue.
Only thing to watch out for is the bonnet catch, eventually it will seize up in the open position. If you are mechanically minded, maybe check it out and grease it up whilst you can. Ive had to call...
Got them for £89 each.
Went to kwik fit and it was busy, waiting room was full. Told him i had a price match of £89, as Mr Tyre in cleethorpes can do them for £89 fitted. Said contacted them back and asked and they said it was ok. He then rang them, and come back with a price for £102 fitted...
When i asked them to price match them, im sure they would of gone lower, but then i had the problem that they may request that i tell them who will supply them, then they may contact them.
End of the day, its not worth messing it all up for £3-4
I think if the email comes back from the £41 company ok then ill go with them. Think they cant be that much worse than standard items.
The price is inclusive of a 25% discount. The disks are made in a factory in wrexham.
This is close to the gsf price of the goods.
Means nothing on standard spec disks though.
These things were made for the 172 years ago, but fitted the 182.
Nothing new about these. The rest, maybe yes. I guess paying for the name and the fancy website.
Everyone is saying brembo, but not giving a reason..
Why is the brembo's pictured any better than over the standard items, or over the items pictured in the £41 picture.
Why should drilled or groved items not be fitted.?
I was thinking of the £41 set.
1. As they look to be standard spec
2. They are cheap
3. I dont do track days (have a bike for that)
I'll give them a email and see what they say about them.
if you can do it safely, clean the inside of the connector with a cotton bud. If you have any wd40 spray that onto the cotton wool bud, and not the item.
Remember, it needs to go back into the brake fluid, so what you put on it will contaminate it. Could be best to let it dry out overnight...
Well, with that many options now available for the car. There are so many choices, most people on the site will be biased to what they thing are there views are based on a general consensus of people.
Ive been looking for a pair of disks for the car, as mine keep corroding after it rains...
Ive tried blackcircles, found them well over the top. (kwik fit standard price £190 supplied & fitted)
I did look at mytyres etc, but then you have the hassle. For the price of £5 a tyre extra, you can have them fitted without any worries, and if you have a problem you can always return to...
Im in the market for 2x tyres fitted to my clio 182.
Ive contacted mytyres.co.uk who want just under £80 a tyre delivered to my place. That works out to be £179 ishy for the 2 tyres.. nice price..
Now, today ive been ringing round the tyre dealers and ive come up with these..
ATS -...
Do 100-001 9999times..
then 001-100-001-100-001 9999times..
Just fit them and drive the car, they will be ok.. I very much doubt you will do excessive braking for 200mile...unless your doing a trackday.
Id rather assume not as renault want £130 a tyre..
New 182 cup wheels without centre caps are £129 + Vat, so i think that is just for the rims alone.
Anyway, i need some new tyres on the front. Doubt ill be buying michelin again unless i get em cheap.
Obviously a replacement bonnet would be required. Notice the there seems to be no damage to the headlamp. You could pop the bumper off the car, its easy to do.
Simply undo the 2 10mm headed bolts underneath the car on the metal tray thing, then open the bonnet and undo the 2 fastners on the...
How about telling us what is happening.
Does the central locking work from the remote.
When you turn it on, what happends on the dash.
Is the car turning over.
Do the lights work, radio etc.
Is anything else unusual apart from the not starting
Does it sound like its attempting to start
Could lock the car up, disconnect the battery.
Frig the bonnet sensor closed, reconnect the battery, press the button on the key. See if the doors unlock.
If not, then you know something is not working. Unsure how to programme the immobiliser or that.
This may not work at all, or it...
