Coil Pack = set of coils within a box with the HT leads coming out of it.
About £60 new i believe from renault. Easy to fit yourself, if you need help, best to email 'edde', he works for renault..
im guessing its a 2002 car, or of that era..
if so, expect coil pack, or tdc sensor..
either way call renault aa assistance if you still have it and get them to diagnose..
dont think it be the filter. If you do think its that, take it off and look at it.
Re: Can we have??
well ive got a few more weeks of driving over the m62..
depends if mum decides to wash it again for me.
a few more after driving round chester racecourse..
Drove it yesterday, the rattles and squeaks are really winding me up now.
Still no word from renault about the shocker and if i have to pay for it. Well if i have to pay ill be leaving it fitted.. well its been like that for 23,000 miles i think..but then again i was told about 10,000 miles...
This would be ideal..

Tbh, heart was set on a TT, look at the S2000 and like it, but its not for me.
Months ago i wanted the SLK230, not the 200 or the 320. But now im on the TT 1.8T 180bhp.
Just something i fancy at the moment. Its not all about engine size and bhp anymore. Its all about style and acting my age.
Thanks for your inputs, well it all depends on the renault warranty thing.
The car is prob worth £7000 now (04 plate 182), and ive looked that if i re-do the loan (ie.. 48months x £270) i can push to about £12,000 on a replacement car. The car has to be the one that will last and hold its...
and my exhaust still rattles post yesterdays little.. 'we've fixed it'..
i wonder if the guy will ever ring me back about this shocker like he said he would.
i was thinking of a megane convertable, but i think thats out of the window..
well, need something that will hold its price in the future. A Z3 is out as i wont get one for the cash that i like. Want something newer than Y reg.
Shall be a convertable. Shall be something like an audi or that level of quality.
Vaxhaul, Renault, Fold, Rover are all out.
my budget is £12,000
I would be looking at something like this..

Well ive had loads & loads of clio problems, was looking at the SLK or the TT. Feeling that i can afford one, i may well buy one now. Clio 182 needs a tax, tyres, discs end of the month so maybe time to chop it in and get rid.
Did look at the hard top, and the soft top. Never owned a soft top...
Well, not to mention the time when the bonnet catch stuck, and the aa dented the bonnet, the time when the battery bracket disappeared and still has. The time when the rear washer pipe was trapped under the rear spoiler, but now it has a chip in it where they took it off..
Then we have the...
Should i..?
Prob have about £11,500 to spend on a new 2nd hand car... (£7k p/x on mine and £4,500 cash).
Not enjoying the clio at the moment, need something to spruce me life up..
Well, the shocker has done 23,000miles. and renault uk say they wont replace it under warranty at that mileage on the car. Well i see that its only done 23k since fitted, and therefore is ok to do..
Now, ive nearly owned the car for 2 years. And ive had many a fault with the damn thing. Warranty is up soon, and i was looking to complain to renault about the amount of work that has been required to be carried out since ive owned it.
Here is a copy of the replacement parts, this does not...
When car sits still on idle, can hear a large annoying rattle down the rear end. Thought it was the exhaust, you then rev it slightly and the rattle goes away, back to idle and it comes back
Not long ago had a new centre section as that was rattling, and inc new clamps, looks like it could be...
