tbh, the V6 is not that much faster than the 182.
I had one along the a52 from boston, i caught up and sat on his bum. Must of been the slower version.
Well if it seems that i would be keeping the car once things are sorted, i would look to do something like this..
Its all dependant on insurance increases etc.
Is there any noticeable difference to the car other than performance that shows its been remapped.
Im more talking about warranty issues etc.
Will the car ever revert back to the original map, if so, how is this done and how can it be avoided.

We have some in work which have a dial and a needle, you read off the guage as you go. Its ok for under 60nm.
Then above that your onto the dial setting ones in the handle with the clicker as the indicator. We have the ability outside the tools stores to check the setting against the meter..
if you ever look inside the haynes manual at the misc page, it lists all the torque settings for different size bolts. Therefore its only the main items that need torquing down.
Example being the hinge on the door pillar, im sure you dont go get your torque wrench out to do that.. :)

at the end of the day you can tell how tight to do a bolt. There are not many bolts on the car that really need torquing down.
A simple 8mm bolt will not require that much effort to shear it so common sense & some threadlock could be used.

Local garage wont fit anything that is not supplied from them. They wont price match against old receipts from national tyres / kiwk fit either. Think its £93 each for 2. Then the 25% offer comes into play on more tyres which is not too bad i guess.

Ive had the exalto's fitted for the past 36,000miles. Had no worries. Just find they spins alot in the wet, no problems in the wet.

Im pretty sure its 7,000miles ishy. Had the tyres fitted by kiwk fit in hartlepool. Total price was about £186 for the 2 fitted.
