its not that bad man..
They respect the car as you've earnt it, though the neighbours hate me though..
one guy tried to give me s**t, so i gave it him back, i think he was the ring leader of the close, but nevermind eh..
Yup, i was in the chippy. Gf's family live on the council estate there somewhere. Just off talbot road, thats where you can find it normally parked sometime.
Gf lives just off the nunsthorpe, so not too a bad area i think. Never normally about the area as i live south of horncastle...
Get a price from another dealer, and get them too price match..
I expect no more than £130 for oil and filter change and a look round the car..
Think its
Air filter
Pollen Filter
Oil Filter
Oil
Washer Fluid
New sump washer
Dispose of old oil
Then a general look about the car...
Think the lowest ive seen is about 26mpg, highest about 40mph doing a constant 60mph..
Usual about 32-34mpg sitting on motorway @80. Drop that onto a windy A/B road then its down to 28mpg.. and even less 100mph +
I always notice the bloody car breaking down, or things going wrong the more and more i drive it, but i still moan about it, still keep it, and prob would buy another one even though ive lost about £3k in past 2 years on it...
Mad eh...
Just want a 197 now for about £10,500 and im in..:)
So your letting your mum buy a 182 whilst you have a lower spec clio, and i guess you wont swap the cars and you have the 182, but secretly leave it in her name, her insurance etc whilst you drive it about..
I think im still right............ :)
What model clio, age..
Id check the brake fluid first off...prob down close to lower level.
If it is, maybe close down to lower limit on pads or disks.
