new brakes!

hello!

i need new disks and pads for my 1.6 16v and was just wondering how much i should expect to pay?

im not looking to upgrade unless there around the same price! (doubt it)!

any help would be good!

How about you google it for the parts, then get someone to come do it..

pads are like 14 quid froma discount store..... jus for origonal ones.....discs...could be anything between 30 to 100 pund depending on make, can you not just use your origonal discs?? how deep is the lip??

im not to sure just the mot man said you need new disks and pads! he quoted me 125 fitted! i no sum1 dat said he can fit my disks pads and shocls for 100 pound!

£17 for the pads FDB845 from Halford i never had any real trouble on any road driving only Bedfrod track days killed them.
Disk £25 or so each (you need 2) from Halfords etc.

£100 isn't to bad £50 for the disk and £17 for pads about 1.2 hours to do it if you take your time.

25 pound? u sure? are these like realy cheap and nasty? i want to be able to stop from high speeds 100 plus (private road obviously)

half decent disks and pads and also springs to lower about 40 mm

I think I paid £60 last time from Halford for my disks for both of them.

As for speed I did loads of track days on stock FDB845 pds with no problems which is much harder on brakes than road driving.
