no looks fine to me from the pic mate. they are progressive coils which is why the spacing isnt equal beteween the coils. do you have anything heavy in the boot because from experience vmaxx rear springs tent to be quite soft. also if you can post up a side on pic of how the car sits on the back
i think my front discs are slightly warped. i wold usually just buy new ones but these discs came with my ktr big brake conversion. can they be skimmed eventhough they are drilled? also how much would i be looking to pay? cheers
if its the spring seat you are meaning then only need one at the top but you dont need the one on the bottom. just make sure you clean that area up and grease it so that the adjuster plate doesnt rust onto the rear beam
get a picture up with how you have installed them however its difficult to put them on upside down as one hole is biger in order to get the adjuster rings to fit through it
they go lower than springs at the back but if just get custom springs if you want to go lower at the back. will still work out cheaper than any other kit.
its not the dampening thats the problem i found. its the soft rear springs. thats why i ended up getting custom springs to stiffen the ride up a bit more
gaz are not as good as vmaxx from what ive heard. only thing that gaz offers is a bigger drop at the back and adjustable dampening at the back. other then that i think vmaxx are better.
buy custom springs for the back and get it properly slammed all round. dont cut the springs mate as that defeats the purpose of buying coilovers in the first place
if he needs the car to get to work and that then it makes sense to just put a new 1.2 engine in it, which will cost about £500. on the otherhand to put a 2.0 in it it will cost him £3000 let alone the extra time needed to fit it. personally i would just put a low milage 1.2 engine in it. will...
thats the problem i had with my old alloys. thats why i got the turini's as their offset isnt as wide. i wouldnt advise you to get your arches rolled though mate as ive asked about it and was told you will dmage the rear pannels
no way mate. fk's DO go 100mm. if you want to be totally slammed though you may want some custom srpings for the back but for the front you wont even get anywhere near winding them all the way down.
also coilovers will make your car handle much better and feel tighter. best mod you could do to...
its should fit mate but measure your bolt spacing on your front shock just to make sure. take your wheel off and there should be 2 bolts that attach your front shock to the wheel hub. measure the distance between them from centre to centre or from the start of the top bolt to the end of the...
no you need the rubber mount below that along with the top hat and thin nut. then its the top cap that you have got on atm. also wind collars all teh way down before you fit as it will compress the spring for you.
i only got rubbing with my old wheels as they had wide tyres and a wide offset. you hsouldnt have this problem if you have wheels that have a renault offset.
