I had 17s on me valver and had to take em off as they damaged an engine mount adn wheel baring....... Damn annoying coz she looked sweet with them on! SO just because people havent had problems with them yet - it dont mean that they wont!
Quick question - the rubber that goes around the front window seal on mine is all bubbles on both sides of the car - any ideas of why this may be? Can i get new ones for a good price?
Its really not a mjor problem at all - most valvers have this problem (i say problem although it isnt). If the noise does become annoying then you can get them done not expensive and you could probably do it yourself but if you arent confident then it shouldnt cost more than £200 tops for...
There really isnt much you can do except to keep trying - the short scaffold pole idea genuinly sounds like a good one. or the hammer idea - although, make sure your tools are stong enough to take the counter strain otherwise you may bend em!
When i bought my valva i realised that me pasenger side door doesnt sit flush with the body work and that the rubber window seal (that goes around the glaas and sits was bubbly all along the bottom. This is the same on the drivers side! Any way of fixing it? The guy i bought it off rekoned i...
It was down pipe, center section and back box actually! Full thing - my friend has his own website and can get stuff on trade http://www.anythingcars.comwww.anythingcars.com Its still under construction but he has really really good prices on lotsa things. Plus the little remote control cars he...
Mornin, Just wondering if anybody knew of a good place to get a full stainless system for a valva - not lookin to spend too much. My mate has offered me £200 for a full stainless mongoose system but im not too hot with cash at the momment........ maybe im just a cheap skate! Mind you, Quick fit...
I have just fixed this problem in mine - EXACTLY the same thing - This is going to sound silly but - if you have the standard alloy wheels on and the wheel cover is not fitted properly then the wheel will seem to knock- also - the chances are that at least one of the mounts is a little loose - i...
Ah yes, the ongoing sunroof saga that we all must endure in order to become master of the clio. All of the f**kers leak - its a legendarly balls up on behalf of renault and the bane of many owners lives - so you are not alone - It all comes down to the glass settling on the seal correctly or the...
I know Valvas get hot its normal but when mine gets so hot that a little smoke comes out of the bonnet vent from the EXTREMELY hot exhaust manifold it makes me question the reliabilityof the thing - plus the smell is pretty bad! Like burning oil! Im sure there isnt any on the manifold though...
Sounds like they didnt tighten the tensioner bolt to the cam belt - monkeys! Therefore the belt would be loose and not spinning at the required speed - glad to hear its fixed though! i had to do the whole thing myself - took 4 weekends as id had never done anything like it before and i did not...
Just get an induction kit mate and i relatively standard exhaust - that way the noise of ragging it only comes when you actually do - and i agree - big zorsts often do sound extremely gay and they make us look like we should be in a Nova or a fiesta xr2!!!
My front right wheel makes a rough noise when i let off - ive noticed that a cover underneath my car that protects like a round thing is split and ahs been for a while - its covered in oil - am thinking that this could be my problem -sounds similar to what you guys are describing......
