Don't get a colour other than white or that is just a ticket to a fine.
As for 'xenon effect ebay specials' they are s**t and just look like standard.
In regards to the "fake watts". The numbers your mate has given you will be the peak wattage. The RMS will be at best half of that.
I have a 600w RMS system and that is plenty loud for music. You have to remember it's a clio and parts fall off without a sub.

They are co-axials. Will be ok either way. The more common set up is to use them in the back and components in the front

It will come out but probably not completely if you say it's worse than the picture. The headlight can be sorted but the wing will need some serious graft to get it very minimal. Had the same with my mums car.
Keep an eye out for a silver car with blue paint on it. I can pretty much guarantee...
When you turn your sidelights on the dash and clock will light up but there won't be a symbol.

Most of that stuff you can do yourself. The play in the steering is probably the track rods and will not cost that much to have done.
