He said this to me so he put them in without, they started leaking a few days after and all i had to hand was the clio clips which he said wasnt able to be modified? i managed it, some others have done the same and so far so good
Right guys, ive searched high and low for decent pictures to work out what hoses i need to buy for a turbo induction kit, im keeping my ITG filter with a 70mm head but i would like to run it under the heater matrix pipes and a 45 up infront of the PS reservoir, i know chip and dan has somthing...
I've just changed the fluid reservoir and it was a doddle, just undo the clips and drain the reservoir and pipes the best you can, then fit new pipe , make sure everythings tight and fill up the fluid again, start car up and move the steering wheel from lock to lock a few times and jobs a gooden :)
Re: Bateseys 172..
Been a busy few days on my days off work,
Painted the engine bay after various smoothing which looks smart, also fitted vibratechnics engine mount, baileys header tank, alloy radiator,
The car also came back from EFI parts last week where it had adaptronic standalone...
Right guys, bit of advice needed :)
What injector clips do you all use when running meggy injectors on your clio rail?
Scoff at efi has said the standard 172 ones dont fit right , do you just use 225 clips or others with it going into the clio rail,
Do you have part numbers so i can get a...
i got one from ebay and it was wrong so got one from renault, i'll be selling it in a months time as ive bought a baileys tank, if you dont mind waiting make me an offer
As above the ecu is the most expensive part of the conversion, really is a shame the standard ecu isnt up to the job otherwise i think a lot more people would do it, paul at rstuning can map the standard ecu but in all fairness it cant cope with the added boost pressure so will lead to problems...

i did actually email them and they offered to do a full bolt on kit without boost pipes for £1300 i think it was all new parts too
my mate could make you a custom downpipe to whatever you need thats what he does and could come to yours, i know what you mean though, i could have done it with cheap parts but ended up with ally rad and forge fmic, boost pipes im hoping look tidy but you do see some ktec pipes going cheap on...
Re: Bateseys 172..
LOL yeah i want it well held in place, my hoses are all gunna be jsperformance mate, getting a good deal as i know the guys and tbh i wont use any other company since using them due to the quality, still not sure on colours for the boost hoses :/ its hard, i like the idea of...
i priced up the parts for a turbo kit, £1300 without ecu, you have the ecu so your at an advantage, that was with some new bits aswell!! bolt it on your engine, run low boost till it blows up then rebuild it ;) with mapping you could boost yours for less than £1500 if you searched around for...
Re: Bateseys 172..
Quick update, no pictures yet though, this week i've started smoothing the engine bay a bit, bit of a tart but i like to make things look nice as well as go well, anyway its booked in at EFIparts for the 9th march to have adaptronic ecu fitted and a custom engine loom with...
I've already got a hybrid t28, bbpt manifold and downpipe, oil feed/return, spark plugs, 225 injectors, nimbus , just need boost pipe hoses and gaskets, oil, coolant etc , its booked in with scoff in march for a custom loom and adaptronic :) then i'll bolt it all on and map it
i spoke with scoff about the Aem ECU they use as i was thinking about it for mine, he said by the time you've bought an rstuner to flash the standard ecu andthe cost of it i might aswell go with adaptronic management :)
