They are going to respray the area, obviously after getting the rust off - and lacquer it into the panel - hopefully it should look good! Booked in for end of April with some other stuff.

Surely they will fit too far within the arch on a NON 172 MK2 Clio - wouldnt you need spacers to actually make them fit?

Should be in the "Service" manual that you get in the Renault pack when you bought the car.. the 18k service is listed as a Minor Service I believe

The MK2 172 wheels wont fit - they are ET48 or ET48.5 not sure. But this offset is incompatible with the other MK2 standard cars.

Ive been ringing around to find out the cost of the 18k service on my 1.5 dCi, which is due soon. Ive been quoted from 138 by two Renault places, and 155 by another. does this sound about right, cost wise, including parts, labour and VAT?

I dont think the service is free.. I wish it was.. :) I would like to supply my own oil, because I like the way the car is currently running on Castol Magnatec GtD.. and I doubt Renault use this on their services!
