I got a letter yesterday, stating that they would not accept my cheque for 60 quid (I admitted to the speeding offence), because the 28 day period was up. I sent a letter to the Central Ticket Office requesting the evidence within the 28 days, but it took them 3 weeks to reply, and even longer...

Just been cleaning my car and noticed a series of scratches on the offside rear quarter panel - looks like some dozey *cough* person *cough* has rubbed a shopping trolley against it :cry: Will be taking into Renault tomorrow for a quote.

the majority of people who tailgate me are people who want to go 2 miles an hour faster than me! i.e. in a 30 or 40 zone. On the motorway I just move over if someone wants to go faster obviously.

I totally agree with adams_2k. They have introduced loads of speed cameras lately in town, loads of people I know have been caught - so now I stick to the limit everywhere, its also a more relaxing way to drive. I never try to hold anyone up, but Im not going to break the speed limit for them...

sorry I just generally stick to the speed limits and if people dont like it.... :@ Most of them dont get hints either! Next time Ive got a right mind to get out of my car and give them a piece of my mind... sorry tad of road rage there :devilish:

It was served within 14 days. I dont think i can really contest it anyway. I know theyve been cracking down on speeding in town for the last month or so.. and thats a notorious road that I was caught on.. where it goes from a 60 to a 30. Oh well. Ill know better in future.

Apparently I was caught doing 43 in a 30 (3 minutes after I left work, so it has to be me).. looks like Im looking at a 60 quid fine and 3 points!! ouch!:@ They say in the letter that it is not Force policy (Warwickshire Police) to provide photographic evidence.. should I still ask for this...

I use AutoGlym (fantastic shiny finish, goes on easy and comes off easy too). I used to use Turtle wax, but that was hard work and left a load of dust behind.

Hmm. Just looked at the Powerbulbs site, and I cant find the Philips silver vision side repeaters, only the front and rear indicator ones... anyone got the link or something for these? Checked out ESPDesign as well and they have Silvatec side repeater bulbs.. 15 quid ouch.. Id prefer the...

My coolant has gone down by about a quarter (gradually) from the Max level. Should I worry about this? And what should I top it up with? Looking at the Handbook it says that you have to get some special sort of solution from Renault, and this is all you can put in it... is this right?
