Looks good,
Were abouts in Caernarfon did you stay at?
Also were you outside DW Sports in Bangor on Saturday Night? as i was parked next to a Rb there,
I don't know, but i have loosen mine up and it has solved the problem, no more erratic fast clicking, i even have another starter motor to replace it with but if its working again then there's no point changing it.
Fast clicking noise sounds exactly how mine has been doing.
I tried to fire the car up one morning and got this fast clicking noise, but i carried on and eventually the starter motor connected with the fly-wheel and fired up.
Its been happening a few times, but has stopped after i purchased a...

No dont jack the engine up, just support it with a jack and a wooden block.
Undo the bolts and you can remove it,

If you see a silver 172 rep with yellow wing mirrors and badges then its moi ;)
Bad points would be in your case:
- Lose the current no claim months you have with Direct line, and have to start again with greenlight,
- Pay a certain amount of deposit again,
Is there any different in price wise with Direct line and Greenlight?
No it wont work due to the Coding on the key not registering with the Ecu,
What you could do is, use the key to the new door to open the car via lock, then use other key to start the car, and unlock the car yourself whilst in.
Exactly happend to mine, nearly caused a big crash because of it which would have involved a massive hgv.
I gave the car a service and never had it again afterwords,
To re-seal the sunroof, you need to take the inside roof out, and then pursue with removing the glass seal etc, then get some black silicon water-tight adhesive and re-seal the bugger,
