Just to put this in prespective. Your paying £6257 to change. I personally cannot see that changing a clio for a clio is worth that amount of money. Had the same dilema when the 182 first came out, fancied one for about a month but waited. Something better will always come out and youll prolly...

yep no doubt about that, renault dont seem to be able to put a foot wrong at the moment, I thnk they have made the clio bigger as the twingo is getting a uk release. Twingo 172 anyone??
Will probably be keeping the meg for a while but the Astra VXR looks stunning so might be tempted, thinking of starting up business on my own in the next couple of years though so the meg might go and be replaced by a 172 lol
I think the clio if anything has similar chav levels to the CTR (ie not a lot) I do think that racing stripes look stupid though, really cheapens the look of too many poweder blue 182s Ive seen, that sort of thing might lead people to think that all clios are chavved up when really they arent...
A though occured to me today on this subject actually, the 172 I had was very "cammy" and below 4k was pretty unresponsive, obviously the way they set them up to give the incredible mpg you get on the 172 which is great, but when you rev it and it comes on cam you get a turbo like shove and you...

well at least your actually having an adult discussion about it Lee hats off to you for that. Its horses for courses, after having a 172 with aftermarket exhaust and decat the quietness of the 225 was a plus for me, at the end of the day the 225 is aimed a a completely different market to the...

Turbos are sh*t, thats why. N/A is always superior.
never driven one onbviously. The days of turbo lag are like 5 or 10 years ago. Modern turbo cars dont have turbo lag FFS! what a joke. The power delivery in my 225 is absolutely...
depends on the mapping of how the power is delivered, if manufacturer has been working to different standards on emissions might affect how the power is delivered etcetc gearing comes into it obviously, tyres the list is as endless as it is pointless. What cars we on about then apart from...
a turbo clio would not sit in the current model range as it would be quicker than the 225 which ould be no good at all ;)
Maybe in the future they will do a 260 megane and a 225 clio or something. That said theres no small car thats got a 2.0 turbo engine so really there arent any cars in...

Id get an audi S3 similiar money but higher miles
that was my first choice but I coudnt find one with less than 40k on
I was surprised actually as my 172 halways had between 2 and 5 rattles at any one time, I assume the meg is made in the same factory? Just shows they can do it when they put their mind to it!
