looks awsome, those brakes look like the same ones on the 225, they are impressive on the 225 so they will be incredible on the clio

climate control is air con but with a temp guage in the car that controls the aircon unit to maintian a constant temperature. IMO it doesnt really work as in my 172 I still had to turn the aircon off after a while as it was too cold!

I dont have xenons any more dont miss them to be honest. They are nice but lets face it they dont really do anything

I had a full fat, they are ace but the cups are more eye catching and will have better residuals

driving position is odd but you do get used to it

I think most of them are in scrappers or ditches by now ;) best RS clio for me by a long way. Wish Id got one instead of the full fat 172. Always worth a second look when you see one on the road

1/4 mile times for the 172 and megane 225 are spot on what I have got in both cars

Didnt evo do a test on optimax a few years back and basically proved there was no performance gain or did I dream that? I think it cleaned the valves better or something but that was about it

The new micra V6 is your clio V6, same platform. Maybe that was part of the deal to let nissan do the mid/rear hatch setup with the platform? On the other hand do you ever believe renault when they say anything about "limitied run" or "there wont be another" ??

Ive had the same experience with the 225 and optimax as I did in the 172, it makes no difference to performance (in fact the petrol cap on the 225 says 95 or 98 RON not just 98 as my clio did) Also with putting it in the 225 my mpg dropped by about 3.
