a mate of mine used to have one, my mk2 172 was faster but not by much. Were talking like a car length over about a 1/4 mile Id say. The 160 ZR and ZF trophys are the ones to watch out for. Know your enemy!
^^yeah thats what I thought, only the vans send nips cos they have the computers on board with the DVLA link. Normal coppers dont have that link, not even traffic cops, thats why they have to call your details though when you do get pulled
hang on if you saw a blue light and it was a cop car did they not stop you? Or were they stood there with a gun? As far as I know itthe "safety camera partnerships" that get you and then produce a NIP, a normal police patrol wont have the numberplate recognition system link. Maybe they were...

mmm, seems you can get a trophy now for less than 12k, very suspicious pricing going on. Will they be 10k soon like 172s ended up being.
course you can, run out models are always dodgey. Nobody wants to buy them when the new shape is...
I rekon if the corsa VXR and punto are turbocharged renault have no option but to turbocharge the new clio. Fair enough it might have 200bhp with the new n/a lump but bang a chip on the corsa/punto your good for 215 or so
I think Vauxhall after flaggin for a while on the performance model front are really kicking everyones are at the moment. They have a really comprehensive range from the boy racers Corsa up to supercar chasers like the VX and Monaro. Vauxhall brand snobbery is well and truly a thing of the past IMO

172 versus 172 cup all over again :p
I disagree, the cup offered some real changes over the 172 which had been around for a while before the cup came, the new alloys, half a second off your 1/4 mile and a luuurvley colour. The trophy...
if you saw the sh*ttly little unit they operate out of in Leeds you wouldnt touch them. Always have some nasty looking cars in the car park too. I went in for a price on some wheels ages ago, they are pretty clueless unless you just want some neons or something

More of the same: :D
Even Ford and Vauxhall should be more than a little worried with the launch of their hot Focus ST and Astra VXR imminent."
Im glad it got a good review etc but come on....
14.5 is what you would expect from a standard cup though maybe 14.5 to 14.7, I hope you do a 13.8 just to shut people up but I think you might be dissapointed. Only thing I would say is that Rolling Road owned by companies that do tuning products are always optimistic. Im looking into tuning...
the new clio is bigger than the old one so it wont look small in the metal, I think it looks superb. Definately a good looking little hatch in a world of regulations making everything look like a C2. If they do a turbo version it will be bye bye megane I rekon lol
Its Micra underpinnings are...
If I had my clio time over again I would get a cup 172 no question. Its far better looking than a 182, the worst of the depreciation is out of the way, its more of a headturner too. But if you want the toys obviously thats not a cups game.
elephant are utter sh*te, just escaped from them back to direct line after a year of hassle every time you ring them up. Not a good insurance company for renault owners as they charge £25 every time you need a courtesy car covering.
Also be aware that once they have got your money off you all...
Its a difficult copmparison really as the 182 and Mondeo are just so different. In terms of Driveway appeal I still think the mondeo would have it. When Im out n about Ill look twice at an ST220 as its a rarer sight, 182s are practically goverment issue round here tho. I think the 182 appeals to...
