they are cobra springs mate, i wasnt sure about them but i got them cheap but they turned out to be great, they are more comfortable than standard springs and as the car is lower...
cheers guys
yeah mate i will do silvervisions at some point, as for the black bumper inserts where do you mean buddy, between the number plate and the front badge at each end, if so i painted the black bit silver as its wasnt very easy to mask it off
Well i sold my saxo back in oct for a deal that was too good to refuse,
i then decided that i wanted a mk2 ph2 clio sport but the insurance was £3000 a year so that was a definate no go. at the time i was looking there were very few available especially in my area. in the end i picked up...
i cant really do it on another car as it involves taking the bumper on and off about 10 times to check the fit, have a go yourself mate its not that hard to do
cheers guys, yup i did all the work myself including painting it. i used p40 fibreglass mix and then p38 filler on top mate both are available from halfords
first you have to sand a load off the corner of the bumper then modify the bumper brackets to pull it in further, then you need to apply fibreglass to fill the gap and smooth it out with filler
before adjusting bumper brackets
after adjustment
the other option is to modify the 172 front bumper to fit the standard wings mate, and then it means you can get replica sideskirts which are only £60 new. its what i am doing
dont bother with 6x9's your better having componets in the front, midbass speakers in the back (or 2nd set of componets) and a sub in the boot.
JBL 1000 watt sub & amp package with a box for about £100 on ebay or motorworld (not sure if they still do it)
headunit i would go with alpine, have...
what are you after mate, headunits, subs, amps, components etc.
sub and amp wise you can do a lot worse the the JBL 1000watt sub & amp package, for the money its pretty decent. as for headunits i have always gone for alpine
i think white will look good, or if you want to do them dark you could try ford graphite grey (metallic) which is what i have just done mine in. i need some tyre shine as it still has the paste from fitting the new tyres. they are dark but not black which is good as black wheel can make your...
dont use a carwash they ruin your paint work and leave swirl marks all over it. use a simple two bucket method with car shampoo in one, and the other for cleaning the washmit out so you dont get the shampoo water dirty
looks tidy mate, plans sound good too, only other things i can think of are colour code the spoiler if its not done already and maybe get some plain number plates without the GB badge as they look cleaner
