you can use the original arch liners mate, they are just held in place by the bumper rather than screwed to it

straight fit other than same of the screw for the arch liners dont match up

cheers guys, yup i did all the work myself including painting it. i used p40 fibreglass mix and then p38 filler on top mate both are available from halfords

first you have to sand a load off the corner of the bumper then modify the bumper brackets to pull it in further, then you need to apply fibreglass to fill the gap and smooth it out with filler before adjusting bumper brackets after adjustment

the other option is to modify the 172 front bumper to fit the standard wings mate, and then it means you can get replica sideskirts which are only £60 new. its what i am doing

ebay is the best for it i had dynamat in my car but as your on a budget you may want something cheaper

what are you after mate, headunits, subs, amps, components etc. sub and amp wise you can do a lot worse the the JBL 1000watt sub & amp package, for the money its pretty decent. as for headunits i have always gone for alpine

dont use a carwash they ruin your paint work and leave swirl marks all over it. use a simple two bucket method with car shampoo in one, and the other for cleaning the washmit out so you dont get the shampoo water dirty

the k tec 182 style exhaust doesnt fit the gaps for a 182 rear bumper mate, which is why i have to get a custom one made up

i found it a pain to start with, try starting on the far right corner once you get that off just work your way along popping them out the clips.

the colour primer you use also makes a difference. if you white you will get a lighter / brighter finish that if you use grey

looks tidy mate, plans sound good too, only other things i can think of are colour code the spoiler if its not done already and maybe get some plain number plates without the GB badge as they look cleaner
