as ukaskew said the canon f1.8 50mm is a great lens. if you want a good 'walk about' lens then the canon F3.5-5.6 28-135mm image stablizer lens is pretty good
for brakes have a look on www.eurocarparts.com or see if you can get something like a mintex brake box off ebay.

they are kei force 10's mate i bought them off schweppy and refurbed them in ford graphite grey as they were heavily kurbed
yeah mate they are 17's. the bumpers wasnt too bad, have a look at my progress thread mate for pics on how i did it (link to it is at the top of the page)
back bumper is being swapped for a sport one mate, its being painted at the moment.
yup 95% of the time the colour is bang on but other times its slightly bluer mainly where the bumper meets the wings, once i have done the rest i will PC the car to see if that makes a difference. if not then i...
its a custom one. it has had the original tailpipe cut off and the other bit welded on. i think he used this originally http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2436
i am just going to use the standard backbox for now
nice one mate, glad you didnt give up with it.
Cro-Clio made a 182 style exhaust using a ktec stealth back box and customising it, i am going down a similar line as this
nope mate you cant fit a 182 exhaust on a 1.2 as the 1.2 has a spare wheel well in the boot and the 182 has a flat floor. ktec do a replica one but it is well expensive and for some reason they made it so the twin pipes arent the same distance as the 182 rear bumper, so you have to modify it...
Got back from uni early today so decided to give the car a quick clean. for the cleaning geeks i used megs shampoo, poorboys polish/sealant, autoglym trim restorer). for those of you following my progress thread (http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=327434)

ah miss read your post thought you were after links for skirts.
to fit them mate use some strong adhesive like tiger seal and a couple of self taping screws in places that wont be seen. then use masking tape to help keep the skirt in place while the glue dries
yup i got some like Jamies off ebay for £75 posted, they are designed for non sports and work well if you are doing a replica and arent changing the front wings
ebay link mate...
i just won an alpine 9850ri of ebay for £60, have a look at those mate they have a direct ipod connection allowing you to search through your ipod tracks on your headunit at direct speed
i recently just fitted a pipercross filter to mine ( and likewise i was looking for sound rather than gains) i am quite pleased with it, at normal speeds its not that noticeable but if you give it some it sounds pretty decent. i have a standard exhaust and with the induction it it makes my car...
unlucky mate, the good news is it only looks cosmetic, should be able to get the panel beaten out and then repainted and it will be as good as new. as for the MOT it will be fine mate
hope you get it sorted buddy
nope mate, they are a straight fit, you will want some spigot rings (basically washers as they are multifit alloys, it fill the gap between the hub of the car and the bore of the alloy) though which you can get of ebay for about £10.
i dont find them stiff mate was suprised i dont know if the shocks/ dampers are different on a ph2 maybe that is why.
they look and feel ace so cheers buddy :)
i was wondering if it was possible to paint the inlet manifold (i think thats what it is) on a 1.2 as they are plastic. the reason i ask was i was thinking about doing the rocker in graphite grey to match my wheels, but then my engine will be too dark as the other bits are black. would it then...
as i got £3000 for the saxo which is only £250 less than i paid for it 4 years ago, if i hadnt of sold it to the buyer i would probably be lucky to get £2200 for it. Plus after 4 years of owning it i was getting a bit bored with it and wanted a new project.
as for the bumper in 95% of the time...
cheers mate, i want to keep them at the moment as i have only just refurbed them. also they have 4 new tyres so i would want a fair amount for them if i did sell them as they are £650 new with out tyres
