    AST 5100 or Bilstein PSS10?

I had PSS10s on my Mini GP and they’re a decent damper to be honest. Not used AST on a Clio but used them on an Impreza and to be honest I was never that blown away by them. I think they’re much of a muchness to be honestly. Best sensible priced dampers I’ve ever used are KW Clubsports. The...

Jon Foz x low mount and Recaro side mount problem.

How did you get on with this mate? I want to do the same. Is it because there was no sliders present?

Just another M3, this time with a V8.

Chase handling and control in the car. That will inspire confidence at the limit and that will make it faster than any charger could do. Id spend the money for a charger on as much tuition and seat time as possible. :) Ive been there with big power and its a lot more expensive yet no more...

    JDM - Ph1 Clio v6

This looks so much cooler because its so far from home. Seeing a V6 here in the UK is kinda "meh". Seeing one all that way over the pond is mega. Love it :)

    Eibach Pro or Sportlines

Personally I felt the car drove better on the OEM Cup springs, but obviously looks prettier on the Sportlines. Still drives good, but for me the OEM setup is pretty much spot in for road use. Here’s my 182 on Cup dampers as Sportline springs.

    My yellow rs kangoo

Putting it in the exhaust housing like that would not only be a pain in the arse, it will disrupt the pulse waves into the turbine by quite a bit. If you don’t want to add a hole to the collector, and both the collector and turbine housing are V band. Why not add a small extension with a V band...

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F153134971301 Identical quality to OEM but about 2” longer than OEM, so I cut mine down to exactly match the OEM seal.

More details, I’ll never see and nobody else will either. Lol. Bonnet seal was old and brittle, so added a nice new one. :)

Just another M3, this time with a V8.

One of the Cayman R boys put Pro 5000 all round on his Cayman R, they look immense. Didn't get much change from £10k for the lot. Ive still got the genuine WRC SACHS from the impreza at home, i should flog those and get some Nitrons for mine. I probably would if it didn't drive so well on...

Absolutely stunning parts going into this fella. The AP Pro series and Nitrons are "bolt to the wall to look at" stuff. Love threads like this :)

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Cheers Rob, You say that but still loads of little jobs i want to do. I've still not had time to fit all the new dampers, arms and bushes i purchased a while back. I've found a gearbox oil leak from the NS CV boot where we think its not been seated correctly. This is a little annoying as ive...

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Sounds good, although I think I’ve already found one from a lad in Southport. I found a leak on my box on the NS CV and that’s whats prompted the want for a box and diff. I could just reseat the CV clamping plate. ?

That’s a shame dude and I can only speak as I find, as can you. You deffo should have told them about it, as nobody can do anything if you don’t make them aware. Sorry to hear of your experience.

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Another little job, Noticed the exhaust clamp behind the cat was on borrowed time the other day and decided to order a new heavy duty stainless one. Small job, I’ll never see it, but never the less satisfying.

Cheers gents. Very kind. Its no showcar, it’s my 115k mile daily. But I’d like to get it as tidy as I can.

recommend me an aftermarket head unit

The 200 isn’t as potent on features nor does it have a CD player. However if that’s doesnt matter then get involved. It will still be a slick as every other Alpine unit. :)

recommend me an aftermarket head unit

Alpine CDE-178BT. Never bother with anything other than Alpine as their quality has always been head and shoulders above the rest of the main stream stuff.

Dusted under the rear wing with some Bilt Hamber Dynax UB before refitting it. Added a new foam weather seal and also resealed the boot trim to cut down on some NVH. Also did the same when I took the front bumper off to fit the Cup washer blanks, quick clean and dusting of Dynax UB. Im also...

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

So some kind soul saw it upon themselves to key the rear wing during the cars previous ownership. So I dropped it off last week to a mate of mine Andy @ Spikes Vintage Restoration. Quite frankly, Andy is the best painter I’ve ever seen in my life, and the quality of his work is off the scale...
