Oh My - Carbon Fibre p**n CCXR
Possibly one of those things that's REared it's ugly POSTerior before, but still worth a butchers.
I'm slightly damp tbh...
Sadly spending money on photography equipment is low down on my list atm, but I was desperate for a tripod. I brought one of these. Sturdy enough and does a job.

Not sure what it would be like with an SLR with a...
The human brain is programmed to pick out shapes and figures it recognises. That's why you see faces in hedges, objects in the clouds.
Ghosts do not exist.
I was playing with my mates (iPhone!) the other day. He was trying to tell me that you can't forward text messages?
I really liked it, loved the screen and the interface but it's little things like poor camera and no video that are holding me back. It seems an excellent phone but I can't help...
PMSL! And the fact you think mensa is a sign of intelligence! Oh dear. You're as naive as you are insecure Dave!
Back on topic... again.....Great pics. They 'feel' a little bit too processed to me and the subject matters a bit iffy in some of them, but it's only my opinion. Really like...
Nobody with the slightest semblance of intelligence would ever say something like that.
That statement is an intelligence fail imho.
Nice pics......And I love my 10-20mm Sigma too lol
I love long exposures. More margin for error too.
I think your exposures are pretty good tbh, but the composition lets them down slightly. Although considering you were having to sit the camera on walls and stuff they're pretty good!
I think this looks better with the railing cropped out...
Do the D40 not have 'bulb' mode? I've done a few of these with my 350D and the RC-1 remote (£12) although not much longer than a couple of minutes. (Think the 350D max is 16 minutes iirc)
Very difficult to get right im my experience. Mine were very orangey and noisy. :(
Is that Mijas I spot in there?
Lovely shots!
DOH. Just seen you've labelled them lol. Beautiful little place Mijas. Did you see the kerazy temple on the way up? Missus's parents have a penthouse overlooking Torrequebrada golf course. Costa Del Sol has a bad rep for some reason but it's got...

I just bought one of these for £49... came with a free Manfrotto monopod too!
Got 350D, Canon 50mm f/1.8, EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, Canon...
I've just bought one. £266 delivered from Hong Kong of the old bay. Got some free gifts thrown in too lol.
Really pleased with it so far - I bought one after seeing Clarts pics on here. Obviously Clarts talent is the reason his pics are so good, but I love the ultra wide aspect you get from the...
The photographer is in a car travelling at the same speed as the object car, thus can select a slightly slower shutter speed to blur the back ground yet keep the car in focus.
I think.
And I have no idea if there's a specific name for it lol
