Less understeer?!!! I can see the tail happy bit - Certainly the ph1 172 might be described as being more fun due to being softer. Maybe a bit more adjustable as a result (I have no idea about that because I didn't push them that hard, and I'm an average driver lol)
I'd bet that a 182 Cup/Cup...
182 Cup/Cup pack handle much better than the ph1 out the box. Better to look at inside and out. No brainer imho
The whole 'power' thing is entirely moot imho. It's totally luck of the draw whether or not you get a good engine, not which model you buy imho.
Ultimately depends what you look...
I tried in vain to get my Mrs round to the idea of a diesel when I bought her mk3 a few years back. The 1.4 16v she had was utter toss tbh. If that had 100 horses, they were more like 100 shetland ponies!
MINI Cooper. No pictures of her car, but it's 100% identical to this one.
More or less full loaded. I paid over the odds a little, but it's like a new car. Nov 04 registered and 22k miles. Heated front screen, auto dimming mirror, chrome pack, half leather, CD changer, AC, DSC+T etc etc...
My missus' MINI Cooper has the 'S' 17"'a and the sports handling pack to go with it.... and the ride is FAR worse than my 172 on Eibach Pros. Very harsh at low speeds.
No idea between the 172 Cup and the 182 with Cup packs, but can't imagine there's a great deal of difference.... the 172 Cup...
Cheers dude.
Carling. "You know who your mates are". This was taken way before that in 2003. And although I work for the brewery that makes Carling, I can't take any credit for the advert lol
He said he rang him "a while back".......
I just put myself in his position. Would I come on here bleating about it or would I ring him up and demand an explaination?
