I got a bit arsed with my mods and sold a couple.... then looked at a standard 172 and thought... mine looks much better. lol.
Only done the basic bolt on stuff. At it's most modified it had
ITG Maxogen (Had Viper prior, now ITG panel - gash :(), Hillpower Inlets, Renaultsport GrpN ECU...
I was going to say that getting rid of the 90 degree elbow will have made as much difference as anything.
I've no doubt that the way you've done it is perfectly fine. But it pisses me off that people make out the Maxogen is crap and pointless when a) They've never tried one and b) the only...
Only for the looks? I think not. It's hella expensive, but nothing performs better in my experience (although I'm yet to try the ghetto approach. I've tried the rest!)
And not in the opinion of Technical Director for BPM, No 1 Mechanic for TW and Technical Engineer for Pectel Engine Control...
The Maxogen is as good as it gets off the shelf. But it's expensive compared to gains (OEM website claim 6-7 bhp iirc)
All I can tell that a replacement panel filter does is save you a few quid come service time. I've noticed no difference to standard. My Maxogen coupled with a GrpN ECU were...
Naaaaa. I have no need for blueray or surfing the internet on my tv. Although I can do that with my Wii if the mood takes. And I don't have a problem with the file types either.
My current 360 is quieter than my old one but's it's still noisier than a ps3 tbh.
You need to pack the rear mount with something. I used some re-inforced rubber hose and cable ties. Can still move back and forth with heat expansion but stops it banging.
The development of the damper was done by Sachs. But I accept your opinion. I don't agree with it, but I accept it lol.
And I'm glad I don't live where you Trophy owners live. It's funny how the roads are conveniently s**tty becuase they're find where I live lol.. ;)
I never said it wasn't a fantastic car. It obvioulsy is. I just think the dampers are overkill. All that cash? They never spent that much. The answers in your post. They only made 500!
But why does my opinion have to echo the 'worlds' press? It doesn't. It's mine and I'm entitled to it. I've...
Considerably firmer imho. Although the seats might have something to do with it too.
They were only going to get 500 sales whatever happened? Don't see your point tbh. And don't forget the 182 was already raved over by the press. They were bound to do cart wheels if they put some gimmick...
Some of them do. I agree with your point though. The term coilover has become a generic term for upgraded spring/dampers (usually ones which are adjustable) and is misinterpreted as a result.
They must have been the ones I've seen lol :o
