They are brand new plugs 900 miles ago. I can't see it being the timing as it's only started doing it in the last week! Idles fine and drives fine it's just that little bit Just under 2k. I was thinking more coil pack Cts,ht leads, crank sensor or throttle body as sometimes that sticks

Any gear between 1500 and 2000 rpm. The car has developed a slight misfire/hesitation above 2k it's spot on.. Any ideas??

Are ph1 and ph2 back boxes all the same fit? Obviously the bore will be different throughout the range! All I mean is the mounting points and length. Seen a ph2 back box with the same bore as mine just want to know if it'll fit

Very very slightly But not to much, it's more if somethings constant! Like heaters and lights, although the stereo doesn't affect it

Ok mate cheers! I changed then sensor last week (cts) although it was a Gsf job. the fan wouldn't work (4th switch on there) the fan now works as it should, I cleaned up both the gear box earths (one at back and passenger side one aswell)

Yeah car is running fine, and fan still kicks in!! When the fan kicks in temp still rises and the drops when it turns off! So it's drawing current from somewhere maybe! I'll have a look

When I tested it it was 0.1 ohms but I don't know what I'm testif it against as I don't know the correct reading

I doubt it mate! At worst top wan bearing but I'm new to these cars and I'd stick with dephaser for the time being
