It's all about the leather scent! Is the 106 for sale then Revels? You seem to be keeping quiet on that front.

They are quite flawed....the gearing isn't well matched to the power, the engine is thirsty and they are expensive to insure and tax for the performance. Do come with some nice features if you get the right car though...they have a stainless exhaust as standard :) should make a few nice pops...

Revels has arguably already done his chav phase from what I can gather...tints, angel eyes etc on the 106! I'm sure he can be trusted to keep the silver finish on the wheels :approve:

Mongoose is the best exhaust for a ZS! Loved it on mine. Polybushes in the rear beam are a worthwhile mod, made the rear end on mine feel nice and firm. Any pics treemanx?

I love these cars and like what you've done...but that looks like it's rusting away! Surely you'd be better off spending money getting the rust sorted rather than eyeing up cams!

Theres loads of little things I prefer about the PH1...cable throttle, the white clocks, the front end (sometimes lol). Does it feel similar to the GTI?

Always thought you were critical of the PH1, moaning about the dash? May be confusing you with someone else. Have you got rid of the GTI then? The only reason I'd sell mine would be to have a newer car, but then I do love the PH1 :) still a good move I think!

How many detailers out there realistically go for 100% correction mate? It's first of all risky as it requires a fair bit of paint to be cut back, secondly time consuming and then limits how much you can machine polish the paint in the future. Most people will be happy with 70% correction. Any...

Perhaps not a classic, but always desirable to certain enthusiasts to an extent.
