Just to confirm that it is very difficult to see if the engine mount has gone. Even after I removed both of mine I couldnt really tell if they were knackered. But after fitting the new ones all my knocking has gone.
:D Will send a pm in a little bit. You should keep any eye on the engine mounts on the car as I think my turbo has been banging around and loosening my studs due to all my mounts being shagged.
Can I ask what studs and bolts you are using for the turbo to manifold join? I am having problems with mine coming loose every now again. They last about 6 months before they are completely shagged.
Any idea where I could buy these? I think you are definitely right about the bracing as I think all my engine mounts where mullered. I have fixed two of them, just got to do the gearbox ones this week. Also had a flexi joint fitted into the turbo downpipe.
Next up will be a straight through...

My current exhaust manifold to turbo studs keep vibrating loose, so got some k nuts, nord-loc anti vibration washers and some anaerobic threadlocker on my wish list. Just got to find the right stud material now. I am not too...

I am 99% sure the shocks are different as they have a...
I got mine off by undoing the rear shocks to drop the rear axle and easing the exhaust out in one whole piece. The new owner had to take the exhaust away in one piece, they just dont like coming apart.
