Need some studs asap! What shall I use

Anyone know any online shops to get some super strong studs.

My current exhaust manifold to turbo studs keep vibrating loose, so got some k nuts, nord-loc anti vibration washers and some anaerobic threadlocker on my wish list. Just got to find the right stud material now. I am not too bothered about cost so long as they never break and I never have to replace them again.....


I need M10x1.5 38mm long made out of the strongest material I can find.

Best price I have so far is for Titanium custom made at £18 each with 1 week turnaround.

I am having no luck apart from getting custom studs done locally.

I've used Wurth studs on many turbo cars. If things rattle loose it's normally because of the way the exhaust moves in relation to the engine. Bracing is the key, exhaust paste on the threads works brilliantly as threadlock

Any idea where I could buy these? I think you are definitely right about the bracing as I think all my engine mounts where mullered. I have fixed two of them, just got to do the gearbox ones this week. Also had a flexi joint fitted into the turbo downpipe.

Next up will be a straight through centre section to lighten the load a little more.

Thanks guys, I have asked my local machine shop to do some in stainless steel. I wanted inconel, but nobody would machine it.lol.
