I think I can comment on this seeing as I recently swapped my Cup for a type r. I've "compared" a type r from the lights and destroyed it in the cup (next set of lights shrugged my shoulders and the fello shrugged his back) In hindsight I think he changed gear at 6k avoiding the v-tec zone. Me...
