yeh thats what i was just thinking, wheres the reverse switch then, gearbox ?
cheers Aluco/the prophet but i had a quick look and dont see how i could get in to fiddle with the bonnet catch
Slight problem
I bought a cup as a non runner a couple of months back and it's been sitting about since, as it's a cup it only has one lock on the passenger side and it's f**ked (key won't go in)
The central locking isn't working as i think the batterys dead, i would have...
google is your friend mate, also worth speaking to some of the companies that are on here like Ktec/JMS/BTM (Fred) etc... and they will help you out
theres plenty of info on the site aswell
i'll be getting coilovers for my cup (track use) so don't know wheres best to get the springs/dampers...
i would never just do springs alone mate, if your going over -20mm then i would say 100% uprate the dampers/shocks aswell (tbh i would say you would be best uprating the dampers when lowering at all)
if your not going to be playing about with the ride height then coilovers aren't needed, the...
did she own the car when the recall was first announced ?
i took mine up to Renault when i first got it and they booked it in no problems (after they had checked on their system that it hadn't been changed before) and changed the whole thing while i waited (took about 10min)
cheers john, i hated the look of the clio badge and looks a bit odd with the new small style lettering of the RS badge thought i'd give it a bash, luckily it covers the holes but only just
i think it tidys the back end up nicely
wheel looks great, i'm looking at getting a suede one soon but have been put off by the fact that i've not heard of one that won't go smooth and shiny after a few weeks of use ! it's making me swap more towards a leather one tbh
red corner has it for me, seems like a nice unabused example (on paper so to speak)
blue corner seems like it could have been owned by a local chav thats got a bit more cash now
just gut feeling
nice wee write up mate, you've certainly went through a fair few different styles (some good some bad !)
new project looks good, are they rota grids on the new written off clio ? if they are any more pics (ive been considering getting a set but wasn't sure how they would look
have a look on machine mart mate, i've just bought a Clarke engine crane/load leveller/engine stand and a few other wee bits a pieces from there
Engine crane was about £160, Load leveller £30, Stand £40
Engine is approx 100-120kg and the box is about 35kg (info from on here) ;)
haha fair enough mate, just remembered you were selling a lot of the bits on your motor
i like the idea of the lambo pearl white, would look a hell of a lot better than a 'flat' white, could be onto a winner there
^^^^
what he said tbh, i seriously love white cars but it's been done to death now, on new cars fair enough it still works as the styling is crisp to match and pull it off
my vote goes for cream ;)
Brakes - Ferodo DS2500 pads or for even more agressive pads then look towards Pagid or Carbone Lorraine, won't go wrong with Brembo HC/Max discs for the price, might aswell get braided lines and a fluid change while your there
Suspension - Eibach springs if your not wanting coilovers
Exhaust...
