Even the best all in ones will only protect for 4-6 weeks, so applying these every month is not saving any time at all. top it with a decent wax or sealant that will last 4-6 motnhs and you'll need to do is give it a quick wash and quick detailer wipe down when ever you feel the need.
I used autofinesse mercury and wire wool on my SV and worked well. If they're not too bad try any metal polish and a green scouring sponge from the kitchen sink. Did the trick when I ran out of wire wool
It depends on what sealant you are using as your base protection, and how often you are likely to top it up?
The likes of gtechniq C2 and Capro Reload are pretty good stand alone sealants that offer good dirt repellancy and water beaviour. But they are also very versatile so you can use them on...
You can use it as a lubricant but it's not great. You'd do better with shampoo and water mix with the clay.
Save the quick detailer this time round. And after a routine maintenance wash, dry the car and use the quick detailer then to remove water marks and restore gloss and beading
See I just can't work out what you did to experience that, as it's very different to my findings with all they're waxes, the only one that was a bit finicky with application was temptation but get it right and it wiped off like illusion
If you want durability spirit and desire will see you just fine with 6months durability. If you want glossy looks and durability desire is great. On a silver car I'd maybe opt for spirit of the two
Not quite sure what Kyle did with his AF waxes but certainly did something wrong. If you can get...
Tell you what, forget everything we've said. Pay for the crystal rock but ask to have a go at applying it yourself as you'll rarely get an option to use such an expensive wax as the application is where a lot of the boutique wax feel comes in. Then monthly top ups with zaino z8
No, unless its a top up sealant like C2 or reload. a sealant typically needs to bond to the paint, so won't bond well to a wax and will fail quickly
Ideally it would be a base layer of a sealant, with the wax over the top.
Zaino Z2 is a stand alone sealant, a replacement for wax. I was suggesting using Z2 instead of crystal rock as it can be topped up with many layersor quick detailers or even a wax as Kyle86 has already mentioned.
I was suggesting save your money and not pay for crystal rock, instead spen the...
I'm sure you're aware it's a very expensive wax, so not a huge amount to pay for the extra. But that would almost pay for zaino Z2 sealant (Z5 if it's a darker colour) and Zaino Z6 quick detailer

What products and kit do you have already to maintain the car? 2 bucket wash method, lambs wool wash mitt, microfibre drying towel?
For routine maintenance look into a wax safe pre wash, something like autofinesse citrus power or valet pro citrus pre wash. A bare natural shampoo like dodojuice...
Don't take this the wrong way but you come across as not being that clued up with detailing and products. And you are probably paying a premium for having crystal rock applied to your car? Also having such an extravagant wax used on anything other than a perfect finish seems a little bit a...
Don't know the guy but at least it's on the forum. 15ml will easily cover 4x 17" wheels inside and out and I still had spare

I still use it and not yet found anything better. Carpro DLUX is well thought of but I wasn't won over. Nanolex ultra was nice and easy to apply but expensive. Yet to try my migliore strata but again can't be bought small enough so expensive. Used my bottle of concourse car care ceramishield...
It's ok, does a decent job of softening the dirt ready for a pressure rinse. Can't say I've seen a huge difference in any snow foam performance personally. Can be had from halfords in 5litre bottle for about £10/£13
We only had light showers and drizzle so thought it was ideal time to give it a quick maintenance wash and top up. Part from the sun came out in full once it came to rinsing and drying. Water marks everywhere requiring a thorough QD wipe down.
If you have a water based QD give it a good wipe...
For multi purpose uses like that I can't recommend the following enough. Being different on each side makes them very useful

2 layers over rejuvenate was still protecting when I stripped it back after 5 and a half months. I've only had autoglym HD wax last as long. AF spirit has come pretty close also
The nanolex sealant works well, but not sure how long it lasts for. But you will get multiple applications from it
G1 is pure and simply the benchmark glass sealant. Some experience wiper judder but this is doesn't to user error in application. Problem is you won't know you've done it wrong...
