How do you find the MF pads work with Tripple, I would have thought they start to clog up quite quickly?
I've been using a puck with spot pads for a while now and makes life a little easier
I think Scholl concepts do one, unsure on how much cut it has and no nothing about it.
Why not use the required polishing compound and top up with a spray sealant like C2 / reload / Tough Coat. something simple that is a wipe on wipe off product as this will offer considerably more protection...
Nattys is one of the easiest waxes to apply so why go to the extra effort of applying by machine? If you're adamant about doing this just use your finger to spread it evenly across the pad
If you can get it cheap, rapid dirt shifter is a great product. Don't quite rate it as good as AF citrus power, but more effective than valet pro citrus pre wash. On some sealants I did find it mess about with water behaviour but typically it's wax safe.
A friend loves the snow foam and has...
A quick detailer is used after a general maintenance wash when your wax or sealant is still performing and doesn't need to be replaced, but using a QD after drying will give it that just waxed look again, some will have there own minimal protection and help improve water behaviour temporarily...
Thanks. I guess it's more the spray pattern I like, but the only Cquartz bottles I have left are ironX and not really wanting to put reload through that
Pressure rinse it off ASAP and ensure you remove it completely otherwise it can leave traces on the panel. Seen it happen with gyeon wetcoat as well, but not with nanolex washcoat
Re: Advice on detailing items please! (I understand it's been spoken about before, so
Depending on the bucket size, it can be hard not to disturb the water when rinsing the mitt out that the water at the bottom won't lift up the dirt. Grit guards can be cut down to size to fit any bucket which...
Hoping to use my strata coating before the end of the nice ish weather, just means I have to find the time to pull out the rotary to make it look half respectable
Ha, if I had a decent phone and not a cr@p iPhone I'd post a pic of a dirty car beading after some rain. If I were to rinse the car with a hose and show the beading it would be better but I'm assuming you're all suggesting those are proper dirty panels. Bearing in mind my car is wearing a mix of...
On heavily contaminated cars, after leaving it dwell spray your tar remover onto a microfibre applicator and wipe down the panel. Makes a huge difference.
based on the prep, application, novice friendly and potential durability they are on completely different ends of the scale.
It's like comparing swissvax Best of Show with CQuartz finest, they are both paint protection
Renault window rubbers never seem to take any dressing very well, wing mirror plastics I would see many months from revive. on our old golf the door bump strips would need re applying every 3 months.
DLUX can't really be compared as the likes of C5. plus they require perfect prep to bond...
what trim are we talking about Jaff? the front splitter and rear bumper insert on my 182 always died off pretty quickly, but then so did every other trim dressing I tried. On other trim it would last months, and as Knuckles even after it has worn off it still looks better than before it was dressed
First question, depends on the wax. Some need more time to cure or gas. Others being solvent heavy need longer so that the second coat doesn't remove the first. Others are safe to go on within an hour or two.
second question, when the wax starts to show signs of degradation and is loosing its...
It's been a while since I last used hydr02 but don't really remember it added much to the finish where reload does make it darker and glossier, a little like ultimate QD
i start to get fed up with products that can be so picky. I've used reload several times now and never had any troubles, as...
