I had a feeling they weren't stainless, but they don't tend to rust. The only place i've noticed rust is where the CAT is bolted to, so this must be a lesser grade steel.

Are you getting a big sheet for when you're storing the car at hotels James, or are you going to brave it? It should stop rain...
How does that work? They removed lead from 3 and put it on 4 and it was fine, but what did they put on 3 as this would have flagged an issue. Unless i'm reading that wrong
Not strickly true mate. Mine has reverted back to a default setting due to having a flat battery for so long. I get 1 beep when I unlock the car, and 2 when I lock it. EVERY TIME :(
Just get it done with your belts. Go to a specialist for those. Standard service is oil, filter, air filter, pollen filter. Depending on mileage, and whether they have been done already, spark plugs also. No fuel filter. Oil wise use 5w40. I use motul 8100
I'd avoid recon engine because you don't know what's actually been changed for the premium they add. Best bet is to go for a new lump (pricey), or a second hand engine from a scrappy. The latter will be much cheaper and it would just be the cost of labour for fitting.
It's easier to see from underneath, as you would need to remove airbox and engine cover to get to it. Follow the wiring from the top GB earth as its branched off that.
