You can't simply split a feed into two (like a terrestrial signal) due to the positive/negative modulation done by the LNB.
Saying that you'll be fine with a single feed if you're not too fussed about recording one channel and watching another.
You need to call Sky and pair the card to the box. They'll just ask for the viewing card number, box serial and version number. You'll also have to upgrade your account and subscribe to the HD channels (if you so wish).

In a typical Usenet download you'll have loads of rar's, a Par2 "Index" file and at the end of the article will be multiple files that look like "vol000+01.PAR2", "vol012+10.PAR2", "vol040+40.PAR2" etc...

I think he means all in one systems aren't as good as separates but if you're on a budget and aren't that much of an AV junkie then it will suffice nicely.

Distance from the exchange is usually quoted as being the fundamental reason why people's speeds are lower than they'd hoped but this isn't strictly the full picture.
Line length* is the key contributing factor in determining what speeds can be achieved. In laymans terms the longer the loop...
Small "in-house" trials have already taken place but now they're rolling it out for a larger trial and I've been asked to take part.
So some good news (at some point later this year) to all those that want faster DSL speeds but aren't on an LLU'd exchange.
