It's getting nippy out there folks!
This morning saw me spend 4 hours or so decontaminating, then protecting the paintwork on this rather nice VW Scirocco 1.4 TSI.
The aim of the day was to clean the paintwork as best as possible in the time given and lay some protection down for Winter, to...
Me again!
Having more of a play with my new camera and I must say I'm astounded by the difference between this and my Pana TZ6, particularly with taking pictures in anything but natural daylight.
All pics were taken in Auto mode
Car was washed today and topped with CQuartz ReLoad. I have...
Knowing that the S17 via SSP would need refining, I decided to try my trusty CYC DAS6 Pro with Megs D300 and a MF Cutting Disc:

Amazingly, it was finishing down incredibly well and did a superb job of swirl removal:

Today saw me travel to a surprisingly sunny Shrewsbury, to BespokeCarCare's rather impressive Detailing Studio, to spend the day performing what was supposed to be an enhancement detail to a Candy White Mk5 Golf GTI.
The Golf itself is owned by a friend (Craig) of my friend (Al) who owns the...
You're all on my Xmas card list!
Richard, I replied to your PM just as my 3G dongle decided to have a fit, did you receive it please? If not, I'll send another... :)
I still exist!
I'm booked up until December now though... when were you looking to get it done?
I doubt your mate will be doing a grand job for £40 tbh, but if you want the holograms sorting afterwards, drop me a PM lol :P

Gave this Scirocco a bit of winter protection today for a few hours, then thought I'd do the same to my Golf.
This is a brilliant combo for quick and easy protection. Tough Coat in particular is silly easy to use and remove.
Enjoy!

Menzerna plays up in Winter though...
If the budget is £500, then yep get a lance, but if it's £100 or so, I'd deprioritise it and go for a citrus degreaser via a pressure sprayer
I only have and use a Snow Foam Lance because people expect it to be used, because its in 'the process' as seen in threads on here and DW!
In reality, it does very little that a pressure washer alone doesn't do. If its 'wax safe' then its not going to have a lot of cleaning power, as you'd...
I was supposed to be spending today prep'ing my mates Megane 250 for its imminent sale, but he couldn't get a lift back home and back over, so I decided to offer my mate Greg some love on his VW Bora. I wanted to have a play with Auto Finesse Glide and a few other new bits, so it seemed the...
Hey Russ! Hope you're well :)
Auto Finesse Lather is a superb shampoo, relatively new to market, but my weapon of choice now.
Snow Foam wise, very few actually clean more than just using a pressure washer! The two best for me, are Autobrite's MagiFoam and Bilt Hamber's Autofoam.
Cheers,
Russ.
Re: What have you ordered?
I'm contemplating some GTechniq C1, C5 and G1 for Winter, but want to test Spirit, Mint Rims and the AF Glass Sealant (out soon!) out...
I'm keen to get C1 mastered so that I can do some good deals on new car protection :)
Waxamomo too, everyone should have stock soon. I used it again yesterday on a Mondeo and it worked wonders.
I always hated doing glass and trim, but now with Revive and Crystal, I don't mind so much!
