The rear brakes hardly do a thing. There are several reasons why the car could be squirming. Does it feel likes it wandering across the road when braking?
I think this is what is causing mine. I never really use the brakes on my way to work either which is why its not burning off. I'm not that keen on giving the brakes a hard time in the recent weather though!
If you have koni shocks then adjust them so that the rears are stiffer than the fronts. This will reduce under-steer and depending on the difference between the two will start to promote over-steer
Would that be caused by seized carrier pins?
EDIT: I've only noticed it since putting my rear tyres on the front. Would uneven tyre wear cause brake feedback through the pedal?
Will the ecu even show a fault for temperature sensor? I wouldn't think that it would as it will just think the waters getting hot and cold.
Also you will not loose much water swapping the sensor if your quick and get a finger or the new sensor straight in the hole.
I wouldn't have the front off of the ground and then jack up using the center of the beam. Seems ok to jack in the center if your only raising the rear though.
On the back you can jack on the rear beam. However there's no place suitable for center jacking on the front.
I think theres a guide in the guides section for the best places to jack
I know this is an old thread but what tool did you use to get the offside track rod off? Ive done the nearside but the lack of access on the offside has stumped me.
