I meant that if he got one from ebay it does not come as a complete unit so the old one need's to be drilled off of the unit that's its on and the replacement refixed by bolts or rivets.
I'm really not special enough to think it needs drilling off of the inlet.
Trust me try it again with the weight entered correctly as the calculations it does will be all over the place with a 79kg weight in there. If it still does it after that THEN start looking for a fault.
With the tops mounts it depends what your after but TBH the stock ones are pretty good.
The track rod ends can be got from most places like GSF or Euro car parts just make sure you get the right one as Renault used 4 different racks so there are two types of rods and ends.
I'm not disagreeing with what they do put its not given me worse mpg.
The thing is if anything they are going to slightly hurt performance as it just purges the vapours into the intake essentially changing the air/fuel ratio. Plus is weighs a couple of kilos and makes an annoying clicking...
Yeah too much money for little to no gains especially seeing they are no lighter. I might just try to make a better heat shield for my ITG open filter then as although the one ive bodged together works it looks crap!
Yeah it was a standard battery. Didn't really think about the weight shift TBH. I've worked out that I can do it by moving the stock battery 10cm forward (in its tray) but I need to try and work out what to do with the ECU. Hence looking for inspiration.
I'm not sure I can afford a race battery...
I know i've seen on here somewhere some pictures of when someone moved the battery to the front of the engine bay so that they could run a filter straight off the T/B without having to run additional battery cable.
I've been looking for it for about 3 hours now has anyone got it saved or know...
Most cheap torque wrenches are so inaccurate I wouldn't risk using one on spark plugs.
If your using NGK plugs they show you how to torque them correctly on the box. Normally finger tight then a 1/6th of a turn or something like that.
This is what I did as it saved allot of money. I could buy 3 ICV off ebay for the price of a Renault one. You can get the same make as the one Renault use as well.
Renault is probably the best place for the mats and 2nd pedals would be allot cheaper than from renault. Look in the For Sale section for people breaking there cars.
If they are the same as my PH1 they are not what I would call proper nuts. You do them up by hand and then push the two tabs on the top of the nut down the thread so its really tight.
That probably makes no sense!!
