I may be persuading the GF to have a weekend break up Blackpool as it goes this weekend.. Fancy a weekend away and i never been so if i do come up i'll drop you a P.M if u want ?
All im looking out for is pot holes lol... Aint got any before pics but what the hell your standard height so you get the pic... (no pun intended) lol
You gonna order them and fit yourself or find somewhere closer to you and get them done ??
Some will say lower some will say it looks ok.. for me its just right as it does look good imo and is still practicle, Only thing i'd say is the APEX do make it very stiff but gives it a nice bumpy feel..
will get coilovers when funds allow but yep theres mine down 30mm and you can defo tell...
Try these for the Eibach's

Honesly i thought 30mm wouldnt be noticeable but it is here's mine :-
Yes but on Renault Sport Range
Worked for a breakdown company a couple of years back and i was suprised at how many expensive cars break more often than cheaper priced cars.. In the year i worked for them i hardly did any renaults and was mostly funny enough Megs with that stupid keyless card...
280mm front discs - get from anywhere -got a set yesterday for £50 (allparts)
238mm rear discs - get from renaault £95 +vat with bearing and abs ring fitted (got mine this morning )
Pads you can get anywhere and are between £20 - £30 for each set
No idea about the buzzing im afraid but surely if you had no compression the engine wouldnt run ? Low pressure out the exhaust could indicate you got a leak from somewhere as my 182's standard exhaust puts out a fair bit of pressure even on idle... Best to get it clipped up and see if you got...
Does it sound like a very slight ticking sound ? only ask coz i have had this on my 182 - well my first engine did till it whent bang with cambelt/aux failure (wasnt the cause though so dont panic) - but since new engine in it doesnt do it.. I never found out what it was coz was only audible...
Couldnt see if you was a 172 or 182 due to the traffic !! Had silver Turinis on looked very nice bar dirty lol... Only noticed as i was passing - bit sleepy after my night shift
Apex look good but are rough as hell.. Had them on mine for 3 months now and its dropped it well but you find yourself watching for pot holes rather than whats in front of you..
Dont know much about Koni TBH but i hear Eibach are one of the best lowering springs for comfort and drop - May not...
credit where its deserved mate
will check my springs tomorrow when i re-brakes my car lol.. My brakes are so fubared so hopefully will feel miles better tomorrow with a new set of discs and pads all round..
BTW is it me or do the discs look f'ing HUGE when new and not on the car ! My mate...
Good luck with that mate, Sounds very interesting hope it goes well for ya ! Now i aint been on here long mate but from what i've read your something of a Renault guru lol..
I had my 182 dropped by K-Tec and since then over bumps i get a rattle / clank from the underside of the car.. Thought...
Yeah the K-tec ones in the link are prob some generic brand of discs ? if you lookat this link these are for genuine Renault rear discs

Not that it matters i presume just im merely pointing out that Renault are cheaper than K-Tec on OEM Discs
I was so shocked when he told me i even called back and asked " you sure thats not for just 1 disc " He said they only sell in pairs.
me thinks K-Tec needs to lower there price on the original discs lol..
still priced at £149 + vat.. A dealer undercutting a specialist ! Now thats a first :)
