Mine did this.. very common problem i believe, Had Renault change the "top shock mounts" under warranty but it still does it so im not bothered..

Happened to me 2 years ago, The same thing my aux belt snapped and decided to mislead my cambelt into doing a runner ! In all 2 damaged pistons and all valves bent, Was only doing 40mph and lowish revs so coulda been worse, Got Renault to repair on warranty as car was within warranty period... 6...

Lol my 1.2 Billabong i had was pretty nippy but then so is my RS182 i own now, Tbh the clio is a fantastic car which ever engine size you own

I had a similar prob, When i reversed sharpish i heard a knock, turned out to be my exhaust hitting my heat shield but obviously dont take that as your fault just a possibility thats all

Same here... Started off with a 1.2 Billabong (FTW lol !) then upgraded to my 182, Totally different car to drive, Couldnt wait to ditch the 1.2 after a year but after 3 yrs of owning my 182 i still love the car, My RS 182 still puts a smile on my face every time i drive it and im sure others...
