    Insuring your excess...

The company is legit, it is a sub brand of Towergate Underwriters who are well established. Also worth noting, to check how much your voluntary excess realistically saves you on your quote. For example a £2000 quote with only £50 excess then making it £750 and it reduces it to £1220 would not...

    Drivers seat issues

Is the handle to get into the back of the car working? I had some issue with mine and it just snapped. If it can't be fixed you can pick up another seat second hand fairly cheap.

    Interior conversion

Yep you will need a torx set and a deep socket set though. Have fun getting the rear bench out ;)

    Declaring an SP30

It's just the way they word it, along with the "have you had any accidents in the last 5 years?" doesn't say have you claimed or gone through insurance its just in general. Sick of insurance companies to be honest, money milking w***ers. £55 to change my policy due to the admin fee but to...

    Declaring an SP30

Right before you say, this wasn't me it was my mum but I have her on my insurance The date was Jan 08 and 3 points were issued but no fine. Without my mum on the insurance it makes a difference of £300 but with the sp30 it is another £100. So it's still cheaper but it could be cheaper. Now my...

    Rear Speakers Clio Help =)

If all else fails remove the door cards. Take the lower rear seats off and you will see a bolt holding the rear seat belts in, undo that. There will also be a torx screw on a rail type thing on the floor holding the front seat belts in, remove that. You can now pull off the door card and you...

182 more to insure than 172??

Do you know how happy I would be if my quote came out at £690? :L
  24. S

    Clio 1.2 16v (2002) 172 replica.

Clios 172's are really coming down in price mate and for the cost of an engine conversion you might aswell buy the actual car, put the 1.2 to standard and sell it.

You can usually pick up a cheap bumper on here to be honest, just depends if one pops up in your colour otherwise you have to add the cost of spraying. I think they normally go for less than £100
