:L lol!
On a serious note, it doesn't really matter what car you drive or how old it is. It's all down to age and experience these days.
Keeping it on the driveway will be cheaper than a garage (f*** knows why).
Driving in the day rather than at night will save money
Postcodes have a lot to...
The tip with PCP is to put down as small a deposit as possible as the depreciation value on the clio is a lot. Just don't buy the car at the end and get a new one at the end.
Hope so. Got the insurance down a bit with a multi quote insurance and my dad said he will give me some money as it makes his policies come down a couple of hundred because mine is so high :L
Just bite the bullet on the first year and next year my insurance should be sub 1k on the 200.
Just...
And just for your information OP, it's 6 points for no insurance, and you're still on probation, so you would lose your license. To be honest it's probably only and extra £150 for the mods you've made to declare.
Re: Project 172 Trophy Red Megane 225 Powered Heavy Track Car
This looks fantastic! I'd love to have the skills to do something like this as it looks like a lot of achievement.
Bring it to FCS if you're going ;)
Ahh, congratulations for being yet another invalidated insurance driver that when coming to a claim you will not recieve a penny but the insurance will pay the third party and then reclaim the costs from you which you won't be able to pay thus resulting in higher premiums for the masses. Cheers...
ahahaha!
I really sympathise with the OP watching it all happen when there's nothing you can do and they're totally oblivious to whats going on. It's horrible and inevitable.
I've always had the opinion of not buying s**t. Might aswell save up for the proper thing because at the end of the day you're going to upgrade from it anyway, so in theory it costs you less in the long run.
I've looked at them too, Im getting £2900 for a 172 and £2600 for a 182.
Somethings wrong here, I'm calling them later, especially as I'm getting ripped off on my insurance at the moment any way.
It's wierd cos when I was looking at them at the end of November I was getting £1700 quotes
im with admiral :s
my postcode is IP7 which is the safest one, it's a tiny little village where we see a police car with blue lights once a year and everyone comes outside to witness whats going on
