Brake Problem

I realised why the car didn't feel quite right today.

The brake pedal is really spongey.

It doesn't tense up when I press it in idle, what can i do?

It doesn't tense up when the engine's off?

If not, you've got a leak somewhere/lots of air in the system.

There's quite a lot of travel in the pedal.

Would bleeding the brakes fix it?

What's the current fluid level and brake pad life like?

No idea about the fluid level, I'm not very mechanical, better with electrics.

Brake pads and discs were changed in December.
