Agree, I wouldnt take it to Renault if it was in warranty, some dealers have very little knowledge about the cars and the service is poor. I would take it to an independent dealer you trust ensure they use Renault parts, you will probably get a better job done and save yourself a fair bit in the...
I have only ever put optimax in my 182, Renault say put 98 Ron in and that what it gets! I’m not sure whether it improves MPG or performance but I put what is recommended in and the same applies to oil, servicing etc
Agree, I rang three different Renault dealers for a price on some oil (the same oil) and I was given three different prices! £22.50, £23.50 and £31
When I got there the oil was out on display and I was the only one in the que but it still took tem mins to serve me as the oil wasnt on the...
on paper the 182 should be slightly faster than the 172, as it has a higher BHP/per tonne figure but in the real world though there is nothing between them and I guess this is the case when comparing RS clios against rival hatches
Very nice car mate, i think the colour is gorgeous.
Not sure if you have heard of Morego (sister company of BBR) they claim 202BHP for just under 2k you may want to check their website out, i know some on here will doubt those claims but they are a very respectable tuning company...
Very nice, i do like the inferno colour, it wasnt available when i bought my arctic blue 182 but if it was it would have given me a tough decision to make
One of the major reasons why I considered the 182 was because I liked the look of them and it was one of the best cars in terms of performance that I could afford, I considered the 182 along with the Pug GTi 180 (I considered a S3 but ruled it out as it was a bit expensive and I would have paid...
I like the look of the new RS but its only going to have 18 bhp more but weigh about 130kg more, so will be no faster (probably will be slower to 60 and 100 than the 182)
it will probably me more like a smaller version of the Megane 225
This was a performance car test (not value for money or anything else), and they put it ahead of the M6 therefore they are saying that it is a better performance car than the M6 and this is simply not true
The 182, in which ever forms are good cars but lets not get silly
On mine the speed set on the cruise control is exactly the same as the road angel (GPS), at 70mph on the road angel and crusie control the speedo normall reads 72/73mph
I think all the Renaultsport Clio's will hit 60 anywhere between 6.5 and 7.0, although in road tests the 182 does seem to be slightly quicker, all the test ive seen get the 182 to 60 in under 7 and the fastest being 6.3!
The trophy is different to the cup becuase it has more expensive dampers, check out www.Renaultsport.co.uk and it will tell you all the differences.
The regular 182, 182 cup and 182 trophy all have the same BHP and there is not 0.5 secs difference between them 0-60, the performance in them...
