No its a genuine blue updated Renault one with loom. I fitted this before I removed engine when I had a starting issue but the day I removed the engine I think I had the issue where it wouldn't fire so maybe coil pack or leads have given up ! I did buy a 2nd hand set of leads and coil pack off...

I fitted a new TDC sensor and the car hasn't been used since. Ive tried 2 coil packs but could be unfortunate that both coilpacks are goosed I guess. will have to see what happens when I can get my mate to check for spark I guess

Still haven't resolved this yet ! It turns over and its getting fuel , hopefully one of my mates will come around over weekend to see if its getting a spark or not

The car won't move as currently in middle of finishing it off. It's turning over but not firing , fuel is pressurised and getting to rail

I did find some more bolts after . I just assumed or forgot to put more in ! I thought there were bracket holes for wiring loom ! Do you have a part number for the gasket ?

I've got the bolts together bloke now . Just didnt realise there was a gasket missing. Doesn't matter if I can't get it to run lol

Is there dan ? I've got bat neg on one if them and another earth on the other . Should there be another earth on there from somewhere you think dan ?

Yeah I'm thinking this and would explain the leak as this has been of while engine was out . Anybody know part number for the housing to the head ?

Yeah I will try this buddy also . Car is on drive and have no decent lights . Just the the eml light coming on I'm wondering if that's the issue now . So just remove ignition lead and get an old spark plug and check for ignition . Never done it before but willing to try to get a step closer

Yeah could be water has got in somewhere . yeah it will pull up any fault codes have been stored . They will clear the faults and see if they appear again. Hopefully it's nothink . its could be just down to water as they hate any water / damp

The starter motor is behind / underneath the manifold . There's a bolted connection and a small exciter wire which just pushes onto a spade connector . its in a pig of place really

No that goes of when the key is turned to ignition. its turning over but not firing . The electrical fault light is on but this afternoon it wasn't . wonder if tdc sensor has gone faulty . I do have the new blue type fitted

I've now got this displayed on my dash and when I had code reader it mention somethink about throttle position I think . Would this prevent. The car from starting ?

Yeah that's the one buddy . i now have that on the dash so it's picking up a fault now that wasn't displaying on the dash . not sure if that's a good thing or not !

I've got a ignition light on the dash now since checking my coilpack and ignition lead order . Coil 4 to 1st spark plug coil 3 to 2nd coil 2 to 3rd coil 4 to 4th This wasn't on dash before but comes on now on ignition . would this just be , coil pack or leads or does the square with zig zag...

Birchdown down done cambelt , clutch and de-phaser so would hope so . How do I check in getting fuel buddy ? dash just remains with stop and serv but the red light goes out
